Adaptive MMA 5K Fundraiser BBQ

One of the most important events of the year is just around the corner! The IncredAble Adaptive MMA 5K Fundraiser is back for its second annual event, bringing the Albuquerque community together to celebrate strength, resilience, and adaptive abilities.

🕘 Time: 9:00 AM (Check-in at 8:15 AM)
📍 Location: Paseo Del Bosque Trail – Alameda Trailhead (Paved & Wheelchair Accessible)
💰 Cost: Adults – $28 | Kids 12 & Under – FREE
🎭 Theme: Come dressed as your favorite comic book character!

This event supports the IncredAble Adaptive MMA Program, a life-changing initiative that provides youth and teens with physical, cognitive, and environmental challenges the opportunity to train in Mixed Martial Arts. Through mentorship, training, and personal development, these young athletes gain confidence, strength, and character while proving that abilities—not disabilities—define them.

Pitmaster Jonathan “Mississippi” Burnett will be serving up a feast, so you can refuel after the 5K while continuing to support this incredible cause.

Prizes & Fun Along the Trail!

To keep things exciting, disabled youth and IncredAble students will have the chance to earn prizes by completing distance challenges along the trail. Don’t forget to dress as your favorite comic book character—because this event is all about celebrating the superheroes among us!
